General-Purpose Reflective Thermoplastic Road Marking Paint is a practical hot-applied pavement marking material designed for parking areas, industrial parks, local roads and municipal maintenance projects.

The product is supplied as a dry thermoplastic mixture containing resin binder, graded aggregates, pigments, fillers and functional additives. After controlled heating, it is applied with suitable thermoplastic marking equipment and forms a hard marking layer as it cools.

This product is manufactured with reference to JT/T 280-2004, the Chinese transport industry standard for pavement marking materials.

White and yellow are the standard colors. Orange-red and other customized colors can be supplied for parking management, industrial zoning and traffic-warning applications.

🧱 Suitable Road Surfaces

Asphalt Pavement

The asphalt surface must be clean, dry and structurally sound.

Remove dust, loose particles, mud, oil and standing water before application. A compatible primer may be required on aged, polished or low-adhesion asphalt.

Concrete Pavement

Concrete must be fully cured, dry and free from laitance, curing compounds, oil and loose particles.

A suitable road marking primer is normally recommended to improve adhesion between the concrete and thermoplastic marking.

Thermoplastic material should not be applied directly over loose or severely sanded concrete without surface repair.


🔧 Application Guidance

1. Prepare the Surface

Clean the application area thoroughly and ensure that the pavement is dry.

2. Apply Primer When Required

Use compatible primer on concrete, aged asphalt or surfaces with insufficient adhesion.

Allow the primer to reach the specified condition before applying the thermoplastic material.

3. Heat the Material Gradually

Heat the material with continuous agitation in suitable thermoplastic preheating equipment.

The general application range is 180–220°C. The final temperature should be adjusted according to the confirmed technical data sheet, equipment and weather conditions.

Insufficient heating may cause poor flow and incomplete melting. Excessive or prolonged heating may damage the resin and affect color and adhesion.

4. Apply the Marking

Apply the molten material with professional thermoplastic road marking equipment.

Control line width, marking thickness and application speed according to the project specification.

5. Apply Drop-On Glass Beads

Where nighttime reflection is required, apply compatible drop-on glass beads evenly while the marking surface is still molten.

Correct bead embedment is important for reliable initial retroreflection.

6. Reopen to Traffic

Allow the marking to cool and harden completely.

Reopen the area only after the contractor has confirmed that the marking is stable and suitable for traffic.
